'I am originally from British Columbia but have proudly called Thunder Bay home since 2009. I obtained my Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Minnesota State University-Mankato. In my professional career, I have had the pleasure of working in the public school system, as well as in the hospital inpatient setting at St. Joseph's hospital in the Acquired Brain Injury program and community setting.

I have been providing speech and language services since 2008 and am extremely passionate about providing individualized and functional speech and language programs. I have extensive knowledge and experience working with all ages of people from birth to 99+ in all areas of communication deficits including: speech disorders, language disorders, cognitive communication disorders and dysphagia/swallowing disorders. I also have extensive experience working with people living with neurological deficits such as: Acquired Brain Injury, stroke, catastrophic/non-catastrophic injury, Motor Vehicle Accident injury, neurodegenerative disease and concussion.

I launched my two businesses Speech & Language Services Thunder Bay and Neuro Rehab North, Speech & Language services in January 2017, as well as Co-founded Concussion Care Northwest. In September 2018, I launched Chad Clower Speech-Language Pathologist Professional Corporation providing face-to-face and virtual services in Ontario.

 

I am a husband to my wonderful wife and a very proud father of two beautiful young boys. I love my family time, am an avid outdoorsman, continue to enjoy lacing up the skates and have found a new love and passion of golf. I feel very fortunate to have had the pleasure and opportunity of working with the many different groups of people that call Thunder Bay and area home and feel extremely privileged to be able support so many people across the country to achieve their speech, language and communication goals!
